From Monday 5th December ALL students in years 7-9 (except year 9 gcse short course students) will be participating in cross country in PE lessons. Students will need to wear old trainers or trainers that they don’t mind getting muddy...

For GCSE students in Years 10 and 11
Thursday 12 – Saturday 14 April 2012
Year 9 are all studying the You Can Do It project as part of their GCSE in ICT this year. The deadlines for this project must be met in order for the students to achieve their potential. Those students who are struggling to meet the deadlines must attend the afterschool workshops on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in the ICT Suite. The course is 100% coursework and all work outlined must be completed. Any problems please contact Madam Calder ccalder@dphs-tkat.org
The first PTA meeting of the year is this Thursday (22nd) at 7.30 in the Plume of Feathers. Debden Park PTA is very small and in need of new members. Everyone is welcome, particularly new parents and those who have emailed an interest in the past few months.
Route 555 starts from Waltham Abbey, the bus shelter on the McDonalds Roundabout, runs through
Quaker Lane and turns right at the Tavern, left into Farm Hill Road to the Green Man, along Broomstick
Hall Road, turns right into Ninefields serving Winters Way, then right into Upshire Road serving the
bus stop by the Co-op.
The route now serves THEYDON BOIS, and passengers can board the bus by “The Green”. The bus
comes down Piercing Hill, serving the bus stop by Morgan Crescent, before continuing to the cross
roads with Coppice Row, the bus goes straight across and picks up on The Green, by the bench on the
left (almost opposite Avenue Road).
