So you have completed your first term at Debden Park High School. We all hope that you have enjoyed learning at Debden Park.
The student response to the first two ILPs has been amazing! We have seen some excellent projects and presentations. Keep up the good work!
Operation Get Green
Now that the nights are getting lighter and hopefully the temperature outside is rising, it is time to think about growing lots of tasty food!
Operation Get Green kicked off last year to great success. In the space of 9 months we managed to turn an overgrown piece of allotment land into to allotment plots for growing food. Under the organisation of Madam Rhodes and Mr Hayden, many pupils from years 7 to10 (and some teachers!!!) all donned their wellies and got their hands mucky working on the allotment plot. This led to a successful harvest of freshly home-grown organic food as well as seeing some of the local area's wildlife closeup!
