Student Voice - The Learning Advisors
Students in year 10 and 11 also have the opportunity to help students in years 7 and 8 by becoming Learning Advisors.
Currently there are around 20 Learning Advisors in year 11. These students take the responsibility of helping year 7 and 8 students with their learning. One of their major roles is to help students with their Independent Learning Projects (ILPs) making sure students understand what is required of them and helping them with their tasks and time management. The Learning Advisors have already helped the year 7s settle into life at Debden Park, sometimes one-to-one and sometimes giving speeches to whole classes.
